My Leadership Values

At the core of my design leadership is a commitment to prioritize people, enabling them to achieve success and excellence in their roles. I strive for success in 4Ps of leadership - People, Partners, Projects and Processes.

Trying to get a bird's eye view of all that's happening internally - internal chaos

People-centred.

1. Put People First:

Ensure the wellbeing and development of all team members by providing them with necessary resources, timely recognition and respect.

2. Build Strong Partnerships:

Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages communication and mutual support amongst all parties involved.

3. Prioritize Projects:

Set realistic objectives, expectations and measurable metrics for every project and empower team member to take ownership of their deliverables in order to ensure impact and success.


4. Create Efficient Processes:

Utilise established tools and systems to streamline workflow and achieve optimal results in an effective and adaptive manner with the constant challenges.

Design Innovation

Centred.

I believe in leading by collaborative problem-solving and decision-making. As a lead, I do not always have the right solutions to tell people what to do but instead, I often take on the facilitator role to create space for open dialogue where team members and stakeholders are empowered to contribute their expertise in forming creative solutions and decisions, while at the same time I ensure that progress is made towards the collective goals.

Encourage experimentation and embrace quick failures and iteration for new pivoting opportunities. Promote futurist thinking as the key to developing sustainability. 

7. Adopt Growth Mindset:

Support continuous learning and endorse constructive challenges to promote growth opportunities with appropriate risk-taking.

8. Community Driven:

Creating space to allow side initiatives to grow and community support to co-elevate each other through teaching, sharing and connecting while leveraging on everyone's diverse talents and strengths.

9. Commitment to Quality:

Ensuring high quality go work output while continually striving for excellence in service delivery and execution of tasks.
